A Family member needs your Prayers….. P. Dianne Nixon, our nomination’s Chair’s father , William, is terminally ill. This is a rough time for P.D. and her family, as it would be for any of us in this tragic situation. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers . It is hard to endure any type of rough situation. We are only made stronger when we join together as a family. Please let us know if you need us to mention one of our own that needs to be held up in prayer. We would be more than happy to include it in this section Please send all request to Chresencia Alicea-Thomas at: Chresencia.d.alicea@verizon.com 302 322-2661 work

Remember the Golden Rule? It was one of the most important life lessons that most parents taught..."Do unto others as you would them to do unto you." In others words, treat others as you would like to be treated. You ever go to a fast food restaurant and the attitudes of the people were just horrible to the point where you thought you did something to them! OH MY! We all have our stresses in this life, but that doesn't give us a license to do whatever and to treat folk any kind of way. The Bible says in Matthew 7:3-5..."Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's (sister's) eye and pay no attention to the wooden plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother (sister), 'Let me take the speck of sawdust out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank of wood in your own eye?" You Hypocrite! First take the plank out of your own eye, then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's (sister's) eye. There is always at least one person in every walk of life you experience that rubs you the wrong way, they are your personal 'sandpaper' to sharpen your personality and create more compassion in you.

Is your Attitude Color causing you problems? You can tell when... o You don't expect to succeed so you're defeated before you even start. o You look forward in resignation and backwards in regret. o You always find more reasons why something won't work than why it can. o You're convinced that you're never going to get any better than you are right now. o You believe that the glass is half empty but only temporarily, because you're going to have even less after some evaporates. However, when your Attitude color is strong and vibrant... o You feel in charge of life and ask what more can you do to make it better. o Success is never a matter of "if," only a matter of "when," and that means soon. o You first know that anything is possible -- then you figure out how. o You can't wait until tomorrow because you keep getting better every day. o You believe the glass is half full, but only temporarily, because you've got your order in for more, and you're busy getting bigger glasses.
The Bottom Line... A positive and pro-active Attitude is a huge driver of success...both personally and professionally. Liz Smith Manager NPD FSRC |
