Scholarship Program

This year CITE National plans on awarding two types of scholarships:

CITE Scholarship Application Letter

April 1, 2009 

Dear:   High School Senior; Senior Class Counselor; Community Counselor; and/or High School Principal/Administrator; Collegiate Admissions Officer 

The Consortium of Information and Telecommunications Executives, Inc. (CITEÒ) will award scholarships to deserving, African - American students who meet the enclosed qualification criteria.  One student will receive a one-time award of three thousand dollars.  ($3,000.00)  

The CITEÒ Scholarship Application must be postmarked by Sunday, May 31, 2009 for consideration by the committee.  The CITEÒ Scholarship Committee will carefully review each application, awarding the person who best meets the criteria, based on a weighted ranking scale. 

THE RECIPIENT OF THIS SCHOLARSHIP AWARD MUST AGREE TO ATTEND THE ENTIRE ERG LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE and CITE’S SCHOLARSHIP BANQUET AFFAIR, WHICH WILL BE HELD August 7-8 2009, at the Sheraton New York Hotels and Towers in New York, New York.

Non-Traditional Scholarship: Awarded to one non-traditional student.
